Community Education Baking Class
We wanted to share the fundraiser for Jen Wagner, a beloved Blue Creek teacher whose kindness and care made a lasting difference for her students and the wider community. The Blue Creek Community is raising funds for a memorial bench at the school playground, giving students, families, and neighbors a special place to remember her. We are grateful to everyone helping keep Jen’s compassion present at the school, and early support can help turn this tribute into something lasting. TITLE OF POSITION: Educational Paraprofessional (Aide)
DESCRIPTION: Full-time position available for the 2026-2027 school year.
A paraprofessional is an educational worker who may or may not have a teacher's license who assists teachers with classroom management and organization. Also known as a teacher's aide, the paraprofessional provides a positive and nurturing guide for students providing instructional, behavioral, and other support to students in and outside of the classroom.

This is a forum to learn more about what the partnership for 7th & 8th grade may look like and the foundations behind this proactive approach. While we do not house those students in our building, it is impactful to our District as a whole. The opportunity and optimism shared by Canyon Creek, benefits students in both districts, takes a proactive approach to the future of our districts, and designs a way to hold on to the benefits of small school settings.
